Blinder than expected, starting the season, "Manchester United" newcomer Memphis Depay insists that he pays little attention to the criticism directed at him.
The winger, currently training with the Netherlands national team, recently refused to speak to journalists, stating that he does not usually communicate with the written press.
However, he agreed to give an interview to his home country's television Voetbal Inside, where he said that he is not interested in most of the criticism.
"I just let criticism run off me. I don't pay much attention to it," - said Depay.
"Constructive criticism does have some impact. Everything else I just ignore. Everyone has their own opinion and that's part of life."
In the first eight "Premier" league matches, Depay has scored one goal.
