M. Depay: my game will improve

"Manchester United" newcomer Memphis Depay admitted that he finds it difficult to adjust to the role of a substitute player, but said he will continue to fight for the trust of coach Louis van Gaal.

The 21-year-old winger has shown poor form lately and was not even brought onto the pitch in the last match against "West Bromwich".

"Of course, it's hard to sit on the bench, but the situation will improve. It's already getting better in training", the Dutch national team player told NOS.

"So, if I get a chance in the game, I will try to take advantage of it."

"I think a lot has changed. I'm in a new club that plays at a different level. These things play a crucial role. I'm trying to find my game. The start of the season was quite easy, but then I slowed down a bit. It shows in my performance."

"However, you can be sure that I am working hard to regain my form."

"Physically, I feel good and in training I try to give my all to improve my game. People are used to seeing me score goals - that will come too, but it will take a little longer to wait."
