"Roma" forward Mattia Destro revealed that at the end of the season he will consider whether to stay in the club because he does not get as much playing time as he would like.
The Italian stood out in the team's last four matches at home, most recently on Wednesday against "Cesena".
However, Destro struggles to break into "Roma's" starting eleven. After the team's last victory, coach Rudi Garcia identified the reasons for this: "Mattia needs to improve his character. I asked him to do that."
The player himself says he has no problems with the coach, but he feels capable of playing in the main eleven.
"It is absolutely right that the decisions must be made by the coach," the 23-year-old footballer told Gazzetta dello Sport. "At the end of the season, I will make my own decision."
Destro also responded to those who criticized his work ethic.
"Critics? Some people can speak out. I will respond with goals."
