„Milan“ club security guard Michael Essien feels confident that team newcomer Fernando Torres will become a leader and will score numerous goals against opponents' goalkeepers.
The 30-year-old Spaniard arrived in Italy from London's „Chelsea“, and opened his scoring account in yesterday's match against „Empoli“.
„I am convinced that we will see many goals from Fernando,“ Essien told the FIFA website.
„I really hope he will play well, as he is a top-class striker.“
„He is a hard worker both on the field and during training. One thing Milan club can be sure of is his one hundred percent dedication.“
The Ghanaian guard also expressed his delight at playing together with several former teammates from the „Chelsea“ club. In addition, Essien hopes to bring the English Christmas spirit to Milan as well."
