"Manchester United" defender Marouane Fellaini is happy with his relationship with team manager Jose Mourinho and considers him "simply a good person".
When the Portuguese took over the reins of the "Red Devils" this summer, there was much speculation that the 29-year-old footballer would leave the team, but that did not happen.
The Belgian has earned the confidence of the manager and has already appeared on the field 31 times this season.
"Mourinho called me before the European Championship to tell me that he wouldn't let me leave, and he expects a lot from me", Fellaini told Sport/Voetbalmagazine.
"My relationship with him is great. I think he is just a good person. As long as you work hard, he will never turn his back on you."
"His personality is great, and people respect him."
Fellaini also contributed two goals to the team's results this season.
