M. Fellaini - the first player in the top Chinese league infected with coronavirus

Former Liverpool's "Everton" and "Manchester United" midfielder Marouane Fellaini has become the first footballer in the top Chinese league to be diagnosed with coronavirus.

The 32-year-old Belgian, who belongs to the team "Shandong Luneng", recently arrived in China and did not feel any symptoms related to the virus, but tests came back positive.

The Chinese club announced that their team player was immediately quarantined.

COVID-19 virus has previously been diagnosed in several players from lower Chinese football leagues.
