This week, European football fans were somewhat surprised by the plans of the leaders of "Marseille."

The media reported that the "Ligue 1" club is not satisfied with the performances of its star player Mason Greenwood and is considering selling him.

Fans immediately started discussing that the Englishman could earn a crazy salary in the French team; however, as "L'Equipe" writes, the winger is only the third most expensive player at the club.

In a month, M. Greenwood earns 450,000 euros, placing him behind midfielders Adrien Rabiot and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg (both earning 500,000 euros).

In the French championship, the Englishman has scored 16 goals and provided 3 assists in 26 matches.

Last summer, "Marseille" paid 31.6 million euros for the talent to "Man Utd."
