Marko Grujić arrived in Mersyside, where he is undergoing a medical examination ahead of his £5.1 million transfer to Liverpool, Sky Sports reports.
The English club reached an agreement with Belgrade's Crvena Zvezda before Christmas, and now the nineteen-year-old can officially move to the "Reds" team.
However, the member of Serbia's youth national team, which won last year's World Championship, will remain on loan to his current club until the end of this season.
Grujić himself wrote on Facebook over the weekend about his transfer to Liverpool, mentioning that he will become a part of the team on January 4th.
English team managed to win the battle for his signature against Moscow's CSKA and St. Petersburg's Zenit, who offered £7 million to the Serbian club. However, the involvement of Mersyside's coach Jurgen Klopp was decisive.
