"Napoli" club has announced that they have extended the contract with one of their leaders Marek Hamsik. The Slovakian will stay in Southern Italy at least until 2020. Under the conditions of the previous contract, several strong teams were interested in him this summer. However, after losing Gonzalo Higuain, "Napoli" decided not to make the same mistake. Hamsik has been playing in this club since 2007, when he moved from "Brescia". Throughout his career, he has played in more than 400 matches for "Napoli" - he ranks third in this indicator. In the 2010-2011 season, he managed to make it into the symbolic "Serie A" eleven, and twice the Slovakian led in assists. Last season, he provided precise assists to his teammates 11 times and scored six goals.
