Messages have spread from Italy that on Friday the management of "Inter" in Milan and Mauro Icardi's representative Wanda Nara will finally meet face to face.
For some time now, the media has been buzzing about M. Icardi's contract at "Inter" club. The Argentine still has a valid contract for 2.5 but "Inter" wants to sign a new contract with the player for the current buyout sum, which amounts to 110 million euros.
Wanda announced last week that negotiations are stuck because "Inter" does not want to raise the current salary of 4.5 million euros. She also added that the striker has received tempting offers from abroad, so the fashion capital team must draw conclusions.
Gianluca Di Marzio reports that this will be the first official meeting between both parties. If "Inter" is willing to increase the salary to 8 million euros, then a positive response from M. Icardi may be expected.
The 25-year-old Argentine has been playing for "Inter" since 2013. During that time, he has already played 205 matches and scored 121 goals.
