M. Icardi: "I left Inter because of hunger for titles"

Mauro Icardi claims that he chose the Paris Saint-Germain team because he wants to become a champion.

The 26-year-old striker shook hands with PSG on the last day of the transfer window. Milan's Inter loaned him out for the season and left the option for the French to buy his contract.

M. Icardi had already become unwanted in the club due to disagreements with the Inter management, but his contribution will not be forgotten - he scored 111 goals in 188 matches in the Serie A championship.

"I came to PSG to be able to play," said the Argentine during an interview. "When you move to a club with a condition in the contract to become a full-fledged player, you understand that you have to perform as best as possible to stay there. We will see how everything unfolds next summer."

"It was my seventh year at Inter and my dream was always to play in the Champions League, which I did last season with this club. However, we still didn't win any titles.

I realized it was time to move to a club where I can win something. PSG has a lineup full of champions. This is exactly where I want to be," M. Icardi said.
