Manuel Lanzini's contract with London's "West Ham United" team will expire next summer, but the "Hammers" are determined to keep the 26-year-old Argentine in their squad.
"Sky Sports" reported that "West Ham United" has already started negotiations with the midfielder, which was also confirmed by the player himself, who stated that he wants to continue playing for his current team.
"We are already in talks with the club about a new contract. It is clear that I want to stay within the ranks of "West Ham United".
"This club is like home to me. This is already my fifth season here. I feel love from the fans, and they love me. This club is amazing," M. Lanzini told "Sky Sports."
The Argentine also assured that the team's goal for this season is to be as close as possible to the top six and try to qualify for the European league.
"We hope to stay close to the top six and also aim to qualify for the European league. That is the most important goal for us this season," added the Argentine.
