"Southampton" legend Matt Le Tissier believes that Luke Shaw needs to leave "Manchester United" as soon as possible, as Jose Mourinho is simply destroying him.
The 21-year-old left-back arrived in Manchester back in 2014, but later suffered a serious injury and never became a regular starter for the team.
Under Mourinho, the young Englishman is also going through a tough period. The Portuguese manager tends to favor Ashley Young, and publicly criticizes the defender in press conferences, claiming that he is not ready to play at that level.
"If Mourinho stays at Manchester, I think Shaw will leave this summer," Sky Sports quotes Le Tissier. "I have no idea what Mourinho plans to do with him."
Their relationship is very strange. I only see Mourinho trying to destroy him as a player. I don't know exactly, but maybe it's because when Mourinho was at Chelsea, Luke chose Man Utd over the 'Blues,' even though he is a fan of them.
Of course, we don't know what's happening in training sessions or in the players' personal lives, but I don't think Shaw is one of those players with a tough character on or off the pitch," added the Southampton legend.
