"Milan's" forward Mario Mandzukic showed a noble gesture. It was officially announced that the 34-year-old player decided to waive his March salary, and the money will be donated to charity by the team. According to the footballer, he did so because he couldn't play for four weeks due to an injury and didn't contribute to achieving the season's main goals. M. Mandzukic's gesture was applauded by "Milan" president Paolo Scaroni, who mentioned "an exceptional athlete's gesture". The veteran's salary amounts to approximately half a million euros per month."
