Former president of AC Milan Inter Massimo Moratti says that the club must again start looking towards the side of the coach Antonio Conte, who has become unemployed.
According to the Italian, this would become particularly relevant if the team finished poorly in the Serie A championship, and the current coach Simone Inzaghi would be fired.
"If you want to win the Scudetto, A. Conte is probably the most suitable coach for that," Moratti said.
“In any case, I don't have the opportunity to talk to the team manager Beppe Marotta, so I can't speak accurately about this situation,” clarified M. Moratti.
He also did not mention the current owner of Inter, Steven Zhang.
"He has invested a lot in the team and won trophies. It is practically impossible in today's times to buy a 'top' club in Europe or Italy," the Italian said.
