M. Moratti: "Inter" Again Promises Not to Buy

Massimo Moratti denied rumors that he intends to buy Milano's "Inter" club again and said he believes Erick Thohir is the right person for the Italian team.

The oil tycoon sold 70 percent of the club rights to Thohir in October 2013.

Yesterday, La Gazzetta dello Sport reported that Moratti is considering reclaiming his shares due to poor team results, but the 69-year-old businessman no longer interests the rights of the "Inter" owner.

"There is no truth in these rumors," - former club president told SportMediaset.

"Erick Thohir has my full support. I hope things go well for him at 'Inter'. He had a lot to sacrifice, but the conditions here are excellent."

"Maybe I miss the club as a fan and sometimes I wish I had some of Thohir's privileges."

"However, I have no intention of buying 'Inter'."

Last season, the team from the "fashion capital" finished in fifth place in "Serie A" and now Roberto Mancini's players are ranking tenth in the Italian championship.
