FC Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer trusts his playing ability with his feet and even believes he could play in a different position.
The 28-year-old footballer helped the German national team win the World Cup in Brazil this summer, and he himself was awarded the Golden Glove. Neuer also started the club season brilliantly - his team conceded only two goals in the first eight Bundesliga matches.
"Maybe some fourth division in Germany - the Regional League. At about that level, I see myself as a field player," the goalkeeper told Fifa.com.
"Sometimes during training, we improve our positional play by playing seven against three. So, in that case, I have to be not only in the goal."
"It's also important because I get a chance to improve my ball control and passing technique."
Despite Neuer's playing style getting some attention from fans only recently, the German added that it has always been his style.
"Bayern" goalkeeper also mentioned always making concrete decisions and trying to stick to them one hundred percent, no matter how risky they may be.
