"Milan" forward M'Baye Niang assured the club fans that he will stay in the "fashion capital" next season.
The 21-year-old footballer attracted interest from "Leicester City" club, and with the "Foxes" acquiring Ahmed Musa, the talks intensified even more.
However, the Frenchman claims he wants to be part of the "Rossoneri" team.
"I never spoke about the transfer market and never thought about leaving," Niang told La Gazzetta dello Sport. "I am a "Milan" player, I am happy and I will stay here. I want to become an important part of this team."
"From the first day back, I talked a lot with the coach. Now I know what I have to do to become a champion."
"I am ready to listen to the coach. I have to be good both on and off the pitch. I understood my mistakes and I have to not repeat them."
Last season, Niang scored five goals and provided as many assists in 16 "Serie A" matches.
