M'Baye Niangas is convinced that the new coach Vincenzo Montella will succeed in bringing AC Milan back to the European arena.
The "Rossoneri" last tasted international football more than two years ago, when in the 2013-14 season they reached the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League.
However, recently the club from the "fashion capital" has not been showing good results, and during this period it has been coached by seven different managers.
"When Montella arrived, we all felt good," Niang told Gazzetta dello Sport. "With him on the pitch, I am convinced that this year we will achieve Europe."
"I feel comfortable with him because I immediately felt his trust in me. From the first day he told me that he expects a lot from me, and since then I have been trying to play as best as possible both in matches and in training.
"The team plays well thanks to Montella."
This weekend, AC Milan secured a victory against Sampdoria, and tomorrow they will face Lazio from Rome.
