The sports director Mindaugas Nikoličius continues to do an excellent job at Split's "Hajduk" club.

The leading Croatian team has announced that they have added one of the most successful Croatian strikers of recent times, Nikola Kalinić, to their ranks.

He has returned to the club and signed a new short-term contract with special conditions - a salary of just 1 euro.

After 19 rounds in the Croatian league, "Hajduk" is leading with 41 points. However, Zagreb's "Dinamo" team, which has two games in hand, is trailing by 7 points, so the advantage may soon disappear.
