M. Nikoličius seeks to return I. Perišičių to "Hajduk

Ivan Perisic is nearing a return to his native Croatia.

Journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that the 34-year-old footballer should return to the Split "Hajduk" team, where he began his career.

All parties are close to reaching an agreement on the player's loan until the end of the season.

Interestingly, the sports director of the "Hajduk" team is Lithuanian Mindaugas Nikolic.

I. Perisic has been out of action due to injury since September.
