Having started the season excellently at San Sebastiano's "Real Sociedad" team, Martin Odegaard wants stability in his career.
The Norwegian belonging to Madrid's "Real" club and still having a four-year contract proves in "La Real" ranks that he is already ready to play at the highest level.
Regardless of how well the Norwegian establishes himself this season, he is unlikely to return to Madrid next summer. As the player himself revealed, it would be best for him to spend the next two seasons at the San Sebastiano team.
"I am happy at the moment," ESPN quoted the Norwegian, whose passing in one of the "La Liga" matches impressed millions of football fans. "I intend to stay here for the next two years, and then we will see."
"My career goal remains the same - my dream is to play for Madrid's 'Real' club. However, the most suitable place for me now is the 'Real Sociedad' team.
"In recent years, I have been loaned to various clubs, so now I want stability. I imagine that after ten years, I will still be at Madrid's 'Real' club. This is my life's dream," continued one of the biggest football talents.
Asked whether the fact that the Madrid team buys new players every year would hinder him from becoming the main player of the team one day, M. Odegaard replied: "This is a normal process. The club buys new players because it is a necessary part of football. Competition in the squad is necessary, especially in a club that always wants to be the best in the world."
