Madrid's "Real" attacking midfielder Martin Odegaard is soon expected to become a full-fledged player for London's "Arsenal." The 22-year-old Norwegian spent the second half of last season on loan basis with the "Gunners," during which he managed to play 20 matches and score two goals. His attacking midfielder style of play convinced the "Arsenal" executives, who worked on Odegaard's possible transfer to England for almost the entire summer. Journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that negotiations between "Arsenal" and "Real" have already reached the final stages. Both parties are currently discussing the final transfer fee. It is announced that Odegaard himself will sign a five-year contract with "Arsenal."
