For the fourth time in the last five years, German midfielder Mesut Ozil has been chosen as the Player of the Year. Last year, the title was claimed by Toni Kroos, but this year Ozil once again won the elections. Ozil won the elections convincingly - 45.9% of the voters voted for him, while only 15.9% of all votes were given to the second-placed Thomas Muller. Playing for the national team in 2015, Ozil played eight matches and helped secure five victories. Representing Arsenal this season, the German midfielder has already made 16 assists and has created a total of 87 scoring opportunities for his teammates. This is the best result among all five major European leagues.
