London's "Arsenal" attacking conductor Mesut Ozil admits that currently unimaginable sums of money are circulating around football.
The 26-year-old footballer left Real Madrid in 2013 and joined the team of the "Gunners". At that time, the price for the defender from Germany for the "Arsenal" team was 50 million euros, however, M. Ozil claims that neither he nor any other footballer is worth such a sum.
"Nobody in the world is worth a sum of 50 million euros," the German told a journalist from "Daily Express". "We have to be cautious in football, we cannot detach ourselves from reality."
M. Ozil was asked about his future opponent in the group stage of the UEFA Champions League, Bayern Munich club.
"This team is one of the strongest in the world, capable of beating anyone. It wouldn't be surprising if Bayern triumphs in this tournament," concluded the defender.
