Londono "Arsenal" leader Mesut Ozil urges team coach Arsene Wenger to work during the summer transfer window, as the next Premier League season will be extremely tough.
Over the past years, the composition of the "Gunners" has almost not changed - they were only joined by Petr Cech and Mohamed Elneny.
The attacking midfielder believes that in order to compete for the English champions title, the team needs more new faces.
"We know it won't be easy and if we want to stay at the top next season, we need reinforcements," Ozil told Welt am Sonntag.
"It will be interesting again to see who invests in what and how much work clubs will do during the summer."
Ozil also added that the fight for trophies at Arsenal will be further complicated by Pep Guardiola's arrival at Manchester City.
