London Arsenal fans received very bad news - Mesut Ozil, who did not have time to recover from illness, will have to miss the UEFA Champions League match against Bayern Munich.
The "Gunners" suffered a defeat with a score of 1-5 in the first match, so the hope of advancing to the next stage for the North London team is slim, and Ozil's absence on the field will not boost confidence either.
Due to the flu, M. Ozil had to miss the weekend match against Liverpool as well. The German has already started training with the team, but Arsene Wenger stated in a press conference that the midfielder is not in good condition.
"I don't think Ozil is physically ready for this match, so he won't be in the lineup," Wenger said. "He should be ready in a week. He only trained with us yesterday."
The "Gunners" will host Bayern Munich guests tomorrow in front of their fans at 21:45 Lithuanian time.
