The English media reports that the "Gunners" are close to reaching an agreement on a new contract with one of the team leaders, Mesut Ozil. It has been known for a long time that the German intends to sign a new contract with "Arsenal", but both parties failed to agree on the player's salary.
At first, M. Ozil asked the North London team to pay him a weekly salary of 350 thousand pounds, but "Arsenal" could not offer such money to the German.
