One of the leaders of London's Arsenal, Mesut Ozil, admits that on Sunday his team will face a tough match against the leaders of the English Premier League, Leicester City.
“The Foxes” unexpectedly defeated the Manchester City footballers last weekend with a 3-1 result and gained a 5-point advantage over their closest pursuers. In case of a victory for Arsenal, the gap from Leicester would be reduced to 2 points, but the German midfielder does not expect an easy fight.
“It will be difficult to stop Leicester City's team,” said M. Ozil. “We have to respect this opponent. Our mission on Sunday is to at least temporarily stop this team.”
“The fact that Leicester is still at the top of the Premier League in February is the biggest surprise in European football in recent years,” added the assist specialist.
The Arsenal vs Leicester match on Sunday will start at 14:00 Lithuanian time at the Emirates Stadium.
