It seems that Manuel Pellegrini, who recently talked about the almost non-existent "Manchester City" fans triumphing in the "Premier" league this season, has changed his mind and now claims that the leading London "Chelsea" will still lose points in the championship, so the "city dwellers" have not lost everything yet.
The Chilean presented these thoughts after the crushing victory on Saturday against "West Brom".
"Chelsea", in turn, yesterday defeated "Hull City" 3-2 and remains ahead with one game in hand. Nevertheless, Pellegrini believes that the "aristocrats" will still lose points.
"I don't think they are always a 'winning machine'," said the "Man City" strategist. "I am sure that from now until the end of the season, all teams will still lose points, so it is very important to return to our game and fight for victories."
"After that, we will see what happens with 'Chelsea'. Perhaps we can win all the upcoming matches and retain the title. The most important thing is that they feel the pressure."
"If we don't win, it will be easy for them. Whether we finish at least in the same position as we are now will depend on the last eight matches."
