62-year-old football specialist Manuel Pellegrini will leave Manchester City after the season, but the Chilean emphasized that he may stay in the English Premier and coach another team.
Since 2013, M. Pellegrini has been leading the Man City team, but the "citizens" reached an agreement with Pep Guardiola in the middle of the season. The Chilean national will have to finish the season in the Manchester team without both the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League trophies.
"I will look at offers after the season. The main goal now is to finish the season as well as possible at Man City. I don't know what will happen later, but I would gladly stay in the Premier League," the strategist said.
"The English league is the best in the world for various reasons. It is a very competitive league. All teams here have great potential, all can attract good players and try to win the league.
Maybe the best football is not played here like in Spain, which will have three of its teams in the finals of European tournaments, but it is still the best league. If you have a good project, I think you can become a competitive team," added M. Pellegrini.
According to the media, M. Pellegrini has received offers from several Spanish clubs.
