"Manchester City" strategist Manuel Pellegrini says that David Silva could return to the lineup after the national team break.
The attacking midfielder can now train at less than full strength, and after a few weeks, his injured ankle will likely be completely healed.
The 29-year-old footballer was injured in last month's European Championship qualifier match between the Spanish and Luxembourg national teams. He was not included in the lineup for the upcoming friendly matches against England and Belgium.
"Silva's ankle is not completely healthy," said Pellegrini. "I hope that in the next 15 days (before the Premier League clash with Liverpool) everything will be fine for him."
"The Spanish national team knows that David cannot play yet, so I see no problems," he added.
The City manager also confirmed that Fabian Delph and Gael Clichy are back training with the team and are healthy.
