According to Manuel Pellegrini's agent Jesus Martinez, at the end of this season, after parting ways with Manchester City, the strategist wants to stay in England.
The "Citizens" club yesterday confirmed that the 62-year-old specialist's place will be taken over by Pep Guardiola, who is currently leading Bayern Munich, starting from the summer.
This immediately sparked speculation linking the Chilean with Chelsea in London, but the former Real Madrid coach has not yet received any offers from other teams.
"He is willing to listen to offers and they do not necessarily have to be from Manchester United or Chelsea. He will first listen to them and analyze them, and then make a decision. At the moment, he does not have any offers," the agent told the Chilean radio station Radio Bio Bio.
"The Premier League remains the most exciting for Manuel. He has spent three wonderful years here and has lost his mind over these competitions."
Indeed, besides Chelsea, Pellegrini is also mentioned as a candidate to take over Valencia. Martinez added that the coach would not rule out the possibility of returning to Spain, where he has led Villarreal, Malaga, and the aforementioned Real Madrid.
