"Juventus" fans received great news - one of the main engines of the team Miralem Pjanic linked his future with the "old lady".
It is reported on the official website that the 28-year-old Bosnian put his signature on a new contract, valid until 2023. The old contract with the club was supposed to expire two years earlier.
There were also rumors in the media this summer that the Bosnian would refuse the contract and move to another European team. There were talks of interest from "Barcelona", PSG, and London's "Chelsea". However, the Bosnian decided to commit to the "Juventus" team.
"I am delighted to have signed a new contract with this wonderful club," - wrote M. Pjanic on his Twitter account.
M. Pjanic, who plays in a defensive midfield position, arrived in Turin in 2016. The €32 million defender has already played 92 matches and scored 15 goals.
Prior to that, the Bosnian also played for "Roma", "Lyon", and "Metz" teams.
