However, after the second leg match, PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino claimed that in this series his team was better and dominated against their opponents. "Analyzing both matches, we see that we dominated against a team that usually controls the game. We lacked a bit of luck in a few key moments. I am disappointed because we deserved more than we got. It must be acknowledged that Man City better capitalized on the chances created. The opponents scored goals, but we controlled the game. We are disappointed because our goal was to play in the final. Despite the difficulty, we must remain positive. We came here after victories against Bayern and Barcelona, so it's very regrettable that we won't play in the final. I'm glad that my boys did not give up until the final whistle," - Pochettino spoke to RMC Sport after the match.
