Scoring a decisive goal in last night's match, Christian Eriksen still doesn't know where he will play next season.
There is a lot of talk in the media that C. Eriksen is planning changes, and the door to Madrid's "Real" club is already knocking. The Dane's contract with "Spurs" ends in 2020, so they may be forced to negotiate with other clubs next summer.
However, there is a possibility that C. Eriksen will stay, as mentioned by Mauricio Pochettino.
"I hope and want Christian to stay with us for a longer period," the strategist said. "I think Christian and we are ready to talk (about a new contract) and then see what happens."
"It's a slightly different situation because Christian is a special person. The period during which he or the club must decide is somewhat different from other players," added the strategist.
The 27-year-old Dane has been playing for "Tottenham" since 2013.
