M. Pochettino criticized M. Sissoko's attitude towards football

Record signing of last summer's London "Tottenham" Moussa Sissoko so far does not convince Mauricio Pochettino with his performance.

Having had a great 2016 European Championship, the Frenchman shook hands with "Spurs" in the last minutes of the transfer window. "Newcastle" received a sum of 30 million pounds sterling for the 27-year-old footballer.

This season, M. Sissoko has played in nine matches for "Spurs", but the midfielder himself is not showing good performance. According to M. Pochettino, M. Sissoko has an inappropriate attitude towards football.

"Football is not just about money. Every player must prove during training that he is better than his teammate and only he deserves a starting place," M. Pochettino explained M. Sissoko's lack of playing time.

"I need to make important decisions. I think both starting lineup and substitutes deserve to be included in the matches," continued the manager.

M. Sissoko was not even included in the matchday squad against London's "Chelsea", and M. Pochettino had to explain this situation at a press conference.

When asked if it was really necessary to leave the Frenchman out, the manager replied: "It's not about me. Everything was done for the benefit of football. We all see football differently. Sometimes when you sign a contract with a player, you expect something from him, but when you start looking for it in him, you find nothing."
