Since 2014, Mauricio Pochettino, who works at London's Tottenham Hotspur club, is not thinking about career changes yet.
M. Pochettino, along with his team, is preparing for the most important matches in the club's history - the UEFA Champions League final. Despite the imminent fierce competition, M. Pochettino is constantly linked with various European teams.
The latest club interested in the services of the Argentine is Turin's Juventus. However, M. Pochettino is not phased by such attention.
"I don't have any other goals than to train Tottenham," Pochettino said to COPE radio. "I don't dare to think about the long-term future because anything can happen in football at any time."
"I don't intend to make any decisions until after the final. It's important to know your future plans. If we want to win something with Tottenham next season, we need to reinforce certain positions," Pochettino said, following pressure from Daniel Levy.
Tottenham will train at Real Madrid's training center before the Champions League final. Asked if Florentino Perez will allow them to stay there as well, Pochettino jokingly replied that such permission will only be granted when he becomes the coach of the Madrid team himself.
"We will train at Valdebebas base, but we will not sleep there. We asked, but Florentino didn't allow us. He would say that if I want to sleep here, I have to first become the Real coach," added the Argentine, who before Zinedine Zidane's return was named as one of the main candidates to come to the club.
