M. Pochettino: "I don't think we have a stronger lineup this season"

Mauricio Pochettino is not sure that this season London's "Tottenham" team has significantly strengthened the competition.

"Spurs" acquired Tanguy Ndombele and Giovani Lo Celso this summer, as well as retained Christian Eriksen, but did not strengthen their defense and offense.

Despite spending just over 100 million pounds this summer, M. Pochettino believes that they will be able to evaluate the team's capabilities compared to last season next spring.

"We will see when the season ends," - replied the Argentine. - "At the moment, I am not sure if this squad is the best I have had."

"However, I think we will be able to evaluate it when we have results. It would be easy to say that last season's squad was stronger because we reached the Champions League final.

If we repeat that this season, or compete for trophies, maybe then we can talk about this squad being the best," - added M. Pochettino.

"Tottenham" team awaits a match with "Leicester City" on Saturday afternoon.
