The head coach of London's Tottenham, Mauricio Pochettino, claims that his relationship with Jose Mourinho has always been good and he hopes to maintain their friendship ahead of the London derby on Sunday.
On Sunday, Tottenham will face Chelsea, which has only achieved four victories this season. Meanwhile, the Spurs have managed to remain unbeaten in the Premier League 12 times.
M. Pochettino recalled the last season's clash between the two teams, when his team celebrated a 5-3 victory. After the defeat, J. Mourinho was dejected, but the Argentine did not see any issue in that.
"It was a very difficult moment for him, as he felt upset and didn't talk to anyone," said M. Pochettino. "But I understand it, as it has happened to me after several matches."
"Sometimes after defeats, you don't feel like talking to anyone. We have good relationships, so I am confident that we will greet each other before the match. Jose was very kind when I was still at Espanyol and he was at Real Madrid," the strategist recounted.
