M. Pochettino: It is no longer possible to compete with "Man City" and "Liverpool"

London's "Tottenham" is going through a tough period: over the weekend they lost to "Burnley", on Wednesday the same fate befell them in the match against "Chelsea", and now on Saturday Mauricio Pochettino's team is facing a North London derby with "Arsenal".

After yesterday's defeat in the London derby, M. Pochettino said that the victory of "Chelsea" was determined by small details and did not hide his disappointment.

"We lost because of small details. We made mistakes and lost the game, so we are disappointed. We couldn't demonstrate our usual game.

"Chelsea" once hit the goal area and scored a goal, while we were not taking shots. It's hard to win playing like that. We also lacked solidity.

"Small details determined a favorable result for the "Chelsea" team," - M. Pochettino expressed his regret in an interview with the BBC.

The Argentine also admitted that the fight for the title for his team is already over.

"After the loss to "Burnley" I said it would be difficult, but now it is no longer possible to compete with "Man City" and "Liverpool".

Only these teams can win the league, and we are left to fight for every victory," the strategist said.

"Tottenham" remains in 3rd place in the "Premier" league, but the "Manchester United" team in 5th place is now trailing by just five points.
