London's "Tottenham" manager Mauricio Pochettino had lunch on Tuesday with long-time "Manchester United" boss Sir Alex Ferguson.
The meeting also included Argentine assistant Jesus Perez.
All of this in the press sparked speculation that Pochettino could become a replacement for Louis van Gaal in the ranks of the "Red Devils". However, according to Goal.com, the managers of the capital club were aware of these shared lunches.
The "Spurs" manager in late April said that he had already agreed in principle on a new contract that would keep him in the current team until 2021.
Nevertheless, Ferguson admires his work greatly, and the attention of such authorities could certainly influence the final decision.
