M. Pochettino: "Unfair that one team gets 24 hours more for preparation"

"Borussia Dortmund" will seek to create a miracle on Tuesday evening and secure a ticket to the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals.

The task ahead is extremely difficult, as the first leg match at home was won by London's "Tottenham" with a score of 3:0. BVB fans should not be optimistic about the loss suffered against "Augsburg" on Friday.

"The Spurs", on the other hand, played against "Arsenal" in the "Premier League" on Saturday. This is why Tottenham's coach Mauricio Pochettino complained to journalists, saying that longer rest gives a huge advantage to the Dortmund team.

"It's strange that nobody is talking about it. It's unfair that one team gets 24 hours more for preparation. It's extremely important," - the Argentinean coach complained.

"We would like to receive help from the football association and the Premier League. I don't even know who's to blame for this situation. Maybe it's the fault of the football association or the Premier League, or maybe the club itself or the television, which wanted the match at that particular time."

M. Pochettino also noted that other countries' football associations do more to help their clubs.

"Other football associations try to help their clubs perform better in European tournaments. I would like our situation to be the same as our competitors. Having the same amount of days for preparation is very important.

I don't think it's fair. We need to solve this problem in the future if we want English teams to perform better in Europe," - said M. Pochettino.
