“Manchester United” club continues to make every effort to extend the contract with one of the team's leaders, Marcus Rashford.
The 25-year-old Englishman has demonstrated excellent performance this season, scoring 27 goals in 44 matches.
However, the forward's contract will expire in the summer of 2024, and “United” has been negotiating with the player's representatives for some time.
Foreign media reported that M. Rashford asked the club for a huge salary, amounting to approximately 500,000 pounds sterling per week.
Nevertheless, the player himself denied such rumors, stating that he is not currently making any demands to the club regarding the contract.
“Another story that does not reflect reality. It's complete nonsense. Right now, I am only thinking about how to win one or even two more trophies with the team this season,”- quotes M. Rashford by journalist Fabrizio Romano.
