Marcus Rashford will not be able to help the England national team in the European Championship qualifying matches taking place in March.
One of the team's leaders injured his ankle, so he left the national team camp and will continue rehabilitation upon returning to Manchester United.
The England national team without M. Rashford will have to play matches against the Czech Republic and Montenegro. As Gareth Southgate said, other players who have shown less will have the opportunity to shine.
"Marcus will not be able to help us, but this will be a great opportunity for other players. We have a lot of attacking potential. So, competition for these positions is really high," the coach said.
England will play their first match against Czech Republic tonight.
