After coming on as a substitute in today's match against Wales, Marcus Rashford broke his "Manchester United" teammate Wayne Rooney's record and became the youngest English player to debut in a European Championship national team.
Rashford appeared in the 73rd minute and was 18 years and 228 days old at the time of his debut. He broke Rooney's record set in 2004 by just four days.
Interestingly, this was Rashford's first debut in which he did not score a goal. He had previously scored in his debut for the "United" team and in the "Premier League," and he also scored in his debut match for the England national team.
