This week it became clear that veteran Marco Reus will no longer play for Dormund's "Borussia" team next season.
The 34-year-old German, after the contract expires, will become a free agent and may move to the MLS championships.
As the end of the season approaches inexorably, M. Reus released a message to "Borussia" fans, in which the player said goodbye to the fans.
"I am very grateful and proud of my career spent at the Dortmund club.
I spent more than half of my life here (he was part of the youth system from 1996-2006 - ed.) and enjoyed every day, although, of course, there were difficult moments.
I already know how hard it is to say goodbye at the end of the season and I am happy that all doubts have finally been dispelled. Now we have set important goals that we want to achieve.
So, we will need the incredible contribution of each of us, the amazing group of fans, to whom, by the way, I want to express my gratitude for their incredible support over the years," said M. Reus.
