Dortmund's "Borussia" fans cannot believe - Marco Reus has suffered a serious injury again. Returning to the lineup in mid-April, the 27-year-old winger helped the "black and yellows" fight for the German Cup trophies over the weekend. This was Reus's first significant trophy in his career. The German did not play the full match - he was substituted after the first half. It later emerged that Reus had suffered a cruciate ligament injury. "Borussia" announced on their official website that the footballer will once again need several months to recover from the injury. There is still plenty of time left until the start of the new season, so Reus is likely to miss the beginning of the 2017-18 season. Nevertheless, this news was painful for both the club and Reus himself, who had been ready to work according to a special training plan this summer to finally get back from the streak of injuries. Reus managed to play in 24 matches for Dortmund this season, scoring 13 goals and providing eight assists.
