M. Salah recognized as the best African footballer for the second time in a row

On Tuesday, an awards ceremony was held in Senegal, during which prizes were awarded to the best football players in Africa.

For the second year in a row, the best player in the Confederation of African Football (CAF) was recognized as Mohamed Salah, a striker for "Liverpool" and the Egyptian national team, who became the top scorer in the Premier League last season.

"When I was a child, I always dreamed of winning these trophies, but I never thought I would do it twice," M. Salah said during the awards.

The best young African football player was recognized as Achrafas Hakimi, who belongs to Madrid's "Real" team but is currently performing very successfully in the ranks of Dortmund's "Borussia."

The best African players' XI was made up of the following players: Onyango, Aurier, Benatia, Bailly, Koulibaly, Partey, Keita, Mahrez, Mane, Aubameyang, Salah.
