M. Salah: the first goal will help me get on track

During the last days of winter transfer window, Mohamed Salah, who has been added to Florentina's "Fiorentina", is delighted to have opened his goal tally in yesterday's match against "Sassuolo" and says that this is a first step towards a bright future in Italy.

The Egyptian has strengthened "Viola" on loan from London's "Chelsea" club, where he failed to establish himself in the main squad since arriving in January 2014 under the guidance of Jose Mourinho.

In his new team, Salah will have to prove his abilities once again.

"I am very happy to have scored my first goal," - the 22-year-old forward from Egypt told Goal. "This will be a big boost for me and will help me to settle in the upcoming matches."

"I am also happy for the victory. Now we will continue to work hard to achieve our goals," he added.
